This Inaugural GLOW meeting was 2+ years in the making. We encountered many obstacles including a worldwide pandemic, an economic crisis, a major war, competing meetings, a volcanic eruption, the closing of our hotel venue, visa, university and travel restrictions, impending monkey pox, illness, and sadly the loss of family. There were times when we questioned if this meeting should continue, and thanks to the sisterhood of the organizing group, the GLOW-OG! we had the fortitude to pursue this dream. We supported each other and this spirit truly was evident as you all gathered and shared your stories and your wisdom. 68 attendees from 11 countries! Not bad for an inaugural meeting! Thank you for being so open and for your kindness to each other
